The Renegade, a Cafe-Meets-Club Concept, Opens Near Union on Queen

Whether you’re looking for a late-night music spot, a happy hour paradise, or a great cup of coffee paired with a pastry – you can find it all at The Renegade. Open since October, The Renegade is one of the only spots of its kind in Virginia, becoming a go-to favorite early birds and night owls alike! 

Open daily, the spot starts off as an early-morning coffee shop serving up locally roasted coffee and pastries, with a full breakfast menu coming soon. Then, the restaurant-bar portion of the venue opens up at lunchtime serving up an eclectic mix of internationally inspired dishes that you really wouldn’t expect. From mahi-mahi tacos to hatch chili queso or Vietnamese lemongrass beef to Malaysian chicken satay, there’s a flavorful dish for any palate to be found on their menus.

After lunch, happy hour and dinner begin and slowly morph into the late-night crowd. Some evenings boast live music and there’s a special late-night bites menu every night until 2 a.m.
