Explore the Italian Market and Eatery at Officina

Officina, Michelin-star winning chef Nicholas Stefanelli’s newest restaurant, opened just a few weeks ago at The Wharf, and already the three-story waterfront venue has become a go-to destination for food and drink along the banks of the Washington Channel. The space includes an all-day cafe on the first floor for coffee, cocktails, and small bites, and an on-site Italian market provides locals the chance to pick up fresh pasta, imported wines, and specialty meats and cheeses.

Upstairs, a casual trattoria offers the comforts of a traditional Italian neighborhood restaurant, with plenty of house-made pastas and prime cuts of meat. The Amaro Library, which houses small-batch liquors from across the world, and the rooftop bar, are two of the most unique watering holes in the neighborhood, for very different reasons. Easily accessible from the Waterfront and L’Enfant Plaza Metro stations, Officina is shaping up to become one of the city’s favorite meeting spots.
