Sip Champagne and Dine on Seasonal Fare at Tulips

New restaurants in D.C. always cause a stir, and Tulips is no exception. This new American bar and restaurant opened in the Dupont Circle neighborhood just as we kicked of 2018, and is a quick 15-minute drive from Union on Queens apartments.

Nestled within a historic brownstone on 19th Street North West, this new addition to the neighborhood screams cozy vibes. Walk inside and you’re transported to a dimly-lit corner of the city with classic chandeliers, exposed brick and a dedicated “champagne room” where the bubbly is always flowing. If you’re not into champagne, the artisan cocktails can tide you over. As for the food, the modern cuisine is artfully presented and inspired by seasonal favorites. So whether you feel like grabbing a fancy cocktail and sitting by the fire, or treating someone special to a four-course meal, Tulips should be on your must-try list.
