Fourth of July Around Arlington, VA

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Arlington, VA and Washington, D.C. this year with all of the great events going on all day long close to Union on Queen.

Stay in Arlington for the Fourth of July celebration at Long Branch Park from 5-10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. This event will includes food trucks, kickball, live music, fireworks and more!

What is more patriotic than baseball in the Nation’s capitol for Independence Day? The Nationals play at 11:05 a.m. against the Mets on July 4, 2017.

If music is more your speed, The Capitol Fourth Concert by PBS starts at 8 p.m. on the Capitol’s West Lawn. This year’s line up of musical guests include the Beach Boys and The Blue Brothers, among others, and is hosted by John Stamos.

Take the whole family to the National Independence Day Parade. The parade starts at 11:45 a.m. and runs along Constitution Street and 7th.

The grand finale is of course the National Mall Fireworks that start a little after 9 p.m. The best part about them is that you can see them from Arlington! Of course Union on Queen’s rooftop is the best view, but you can also see them from the US Marine Corps War Memorial and the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

However you choose to celebrate Independence Day, we hope you have a safe, fun and patriotic filled day around town!
